At AFINIS Group®, we believe that a responsible approach to the environment is an integral part of modern business. That is why we actively participate in systems that contribute to sustainability and reduce environmental burden.
We are a proud part of several platforms and organizations that are focused on addressing environmental responsibility. One of them is OZV SEWA, the largest producer responsibility organization in Slovakia. In 2024, SEWA secured a record 25,000 tons of electronic waste, which represents more than a third of the total electronic waste produced in Slovakia. Such results are proof that collective fulfillment of obligations makes sense.
As a manufacturer and importer , we fulfill our legal obligations through SEWA in the areas of:
- electrical and electronic equipment and waste
- batteries and accumulators
- packaging and non-packaging products
Thanks to membership in the European Recycling Platform (ERP), these obligations are fulfilled effectively not only in Slovakia, but also in 30 other European countries. SEWA also provides solutions that are economically advantageous and legislatively flawless – which allows us to focus on what we do best.
Responsible waste management is not a formality for us. It is an active step towards protecting nature for future generations. We have joined a system that has a real impact – and we believe that thanks to such decisions, the world can change for the better.
